Why share that information at all? If its not to an educator or close family member, sharing your diagnosis seems to be attention-seeking or to explaining away a particular behavior. The later being the more understanding if it is to the affected party. There is a level of coaching needed to be emotionally intelligent enough not to feel judged for being a parent of a spectrum child or being on the spectrum, or as I say fondly say neurospicy. There is an inherent narcissism built into the current society that we need to examine closely. Live your fabulous life. Explain nothing! 💪🏿
