I survived a man like this! He couldn't break me! He tried daily! He finally cheated, and I was somewhat free but I wasn't truly until he trapped a woman 20 yrs younger with two kids! I would have warned her but her racism and desperation got in the way. So she has to learn the hard way. We were still married when she got herself pregnant. He has been mooching off her ever since and lies about not having money. Covert narcissists are the worst! Run!!!
